This research indicates that there are no longer term studies that show Alopecia Areata (AA) can be treated effectively.
Although this condition can be difficult to treat I have found there are indications when reviewing AA cases that gives hope to successful treatment.
There is one treatment that is usually effective in treating mild to moderate AA. It is always the first choice in treatment.
Severe and chronic AA I have found responds best to one type of natural medicine. I believe this is because you have to address the immune dysfunction that is causing the bodys' white blood cells to damage the hair follicle. Anti inflammatories can be useful, but they dont cure the condition in most cases.
